The Idea

Many people are unaware that intelligence is not fixed. In fact, adults may be deterred from learning or re-training in later life due to a bad relationship with learning in school.
My research suggested that Informing adults of the brain’s plasticity can help to re-empower the learning process and increase motivation. On top of this, a reflective and non-judgemental environment with a mix of self-directed and communal learning is a catalyst for positive mental attitudes.

The Outcome

Trainable is a programme consisting of self-directed, activity-based research, influenced by learning styles. The aim is to foster a community that no-longer sees learning as a hurdle to jump over, but an enjoyable process that can open up many opportunities in the future…
or even just for fun!
